The Justice House of Prayer (JHOP) in Boston/Cambridge is under the covering of Lou and Therese Engle and was birthed out of The Call prayer assemblies. JHOP exists to rise up a house of prayer that contends with every other house that challenges the Lordship and supremacy of Christ over all affairs.

The primary motivation of JHOP is to pour out our extravagant love and devotion to Jesus Christ, who is worthy of all praise and adoration. At the same time, a unique and defining characteristic of JHOP is governmental intercession as delineated by the 1 Timothy 2 mandate. We believe that true reformation, revival, and revolution in our city and nation will only be born out of a spiritual shift. This can only occur when the spiritual atmosphere has been shifted through sustained prayer and fasting.

The Great Awakening, the World Missions Movement and many other sporadic spiritual revivals have been birthed from Massachusetts. Massachusetts is also known worldwide as a state that houses some of the most influential and prestigious universities in the world. It is said that what is taught in the classrooms of one generation become the philosophies of the next.

The house of prayer in Boston stands to contend with the giants of humanism, secularism and ungodly intellectualism that will affect the world that our children and our children's children will live in.

Boston is historically proven to be a hub of influence not only for America but the nations of the world. We are contending to see this seat of influence once again release blessing to not only this nation, but to all the nations of the earth and for the future generations. A violent spiritual shift and the invasion of God’s glory is the only redeeming hope in this hour.
