Pen name, CHELISE "CJ" JAMES ...Author of the urban, hip hop fiction novel, "Falling Into the Game" now available!
I enjoy meeting new people with the same interests, so all is welcome! This page is strictly for professional purposes i,e. to share ideas and writing pieces with other writers, blog comments, etc. and learn something from other creative minds whether you're a song writer, screen writer, musician, whatever. I take my craft VERY SERIOUSLY and would like for those who message me or submit friend requests have that same respect...But most of all...please NO DRAMA...PLEASE leave that at the door when you walk in. But take a look around and I hope you enjoy my pieces as I have enjoyed writing them for the world to see. Feedback is always welcomed!
I have had the pleasure of working with some reputable companies such as, Pagewise Publications, the online magazine, Jade; The New York Times, New York Newsday, and The Autism Perspective (TAP) Magazine. You may also see my literary works www.associatedcontent.com. I am also a virtual assistant where I conduct administrative and office support services for a few clients: www.virtualofficeasst.net
Writing has been my passion since I was a child and it's only been for a few years since I decided to share my work with the world as my career when my youngest child, my daughter, was diagnosed with the mysterious disorder called, Autism. I believe writing opens a new world unimaginable to the human eye that only your imagination can take you to.
I am the organizer of the support forum called the "Queens County Parents Autism Coalition" via Meetup.com It is an online forum that provides support and resource services to parents with children with Autism. We also meet in person for family Autim friendly outings, open discussions, in order to share strategies, resources, and our personal experiences in order to help other parents living with Autism in their lives. As the parent to a daughter with Autism, I know how very important it is to share the knowledge that I gain in order to help others begin their journey with Autism. Our motto is, "Empowering one another. One parent at a time." If you are the parent or have a loved one with Autism, I invite to join our group. We are open to parents and professionals experienced in the field to Queens, NY and the surrounding areas. Please visit: http://autism.meetup./290 for info and/or to join. Or you can send me a message here for more info. The journey of Autism is a long one...now it doesn't have to be a lonely one.
