The single most original jazz/rock band in the world at the moment. I mean, have you ever heard of a jazz band with a guitarist who can shred better than Satriani, a bassist who is cooler that a cucumber in a freezer, a drummer who wears nothing but ladies' lingerie, a saxophone made of 24-carat gold and a clarinettist who doesn't play clarinet but sings instead. Exactly what I'm saying, this is THE Jazz band in the world at the moment: JITZ
We were pulled together by fate. We all began to appreciate jazz at the same time, those funky grooves and swinging solos... Out of the blue we began jamming one day, and that was when it happened: Jitz was formed. No-one named us Jitz, nor did we ourselves... it was somehow just meant to be, although it has been said that the "t" is a spelling mistake!
We don't rehearse: we jam. Jitz stands for freedom in playing music.
