About Me

Myspace BackgroundsI am a mom, performer and consultant. I often suffer from post natal senility, brought on by my own birth 42 years ago. Since that time I have tried to make order of my life by making up and telling stories and now I am fortunate enough to have a career in that as a narrative consultant (in certain circles) or a performance storyteller in others. In my shows I like to subvert traditional tales and reinstate their darker side as well as highlighting the more provocative elements that have been ignored for far too long. beauty and the beast

So last night I went to see Goldfrapp - a group that I think articulates the throbbing, dark  underbelly of the imagination - of my imagination. When I looked at the audience however, there was n...

Gravity

I have been thinking recently that I seem to have lost my gravitational pull, somehow my constellations and my orbit seem slightly awry, slightly off centre. I do not feel me but as I am feeling this ...

reflections on reflection

I am aware that I have been busy avoiding reflecting as though I am running very fast over a mire in the knowledge that if I stop I will sink down into the mud and I am not a mud person. And really wh...

Constellations of Chaos and Order

I have always thought that losing someone, either through death or through the breakdown of a relationship, is like having a planet dissapear from your universe. When it goes, all of that order- the g...
