..I am mixed race. My mother is white, English and Irish. My father is Black Jamaican. The typical mix. Yes, he is a rasta, and yes he has got bare mix race kids about the place. Bt dont worry not me.Despite being quite dark skinned, like most Caribbean people, he has other nationalities in him. Chinese, Asian Indian, and Scottish are accompanied to the vast amount of African Blood. And it is this reason my performer name is "Atreyu". It is a name of a young, native American warrior in the tale of "The Never Ending Story", in which he is the last hope, and fights against a mysterious, dark force called "the nothing" which crosses hes homeland and destroys everything in its path. I see myself and my music the same way. Not as a magical warrior that has the task of saving the world,lol, but as a young warrior, that fights for whats right and tries to overcome all obstacles, and my music is my tool, and this is the thing that for me, can protect me from the dark force in todays world.It seemed naturaly the name after the fact that it is the native peoples of America which inspire my spiritual beliefs the most, and when the name is traslated it means "Son of All". And thats how i see myself. Son of all. I have all nations blood in my veins, Black, White, Yellow, and Brown, and it is the Red man who is my spiritual people.My music consists of mainly hip hop. But i also do reggae, danchall, r'n'b. The "urban" music.As my experience, and abilities grow i intend to work with everyone from pop, to rock, to country, to ethnic.I like fun. I am not just a deep minded person who constantly reads and talk bout deepness. Please dont think dat.lol. I am a normal person. Thats what i want to be known and remembered as. Not a conscious person, a deep person, a childish person, a immature person, a WHATEVER person. A person who cared about ALL life.
