Before I start about myself let me tell you so you will know in advance. I AM NOT A SINGER!. I am a writer.
I've been writing songs since 1973, about 600 of them. Some are very good and some are trash. I have put some of the ok ones here. I started playing guitar in a suburb of Chicago called Forest Park. I always dreamed of being a beatle and played for hours in front of a mirror entertaining myself. I started writing because I didn't like what was on the radio so I tried to fix it. I was told my songs are so beautiful, I should used them to teach about Jesus. Here in this space you will hear music writen by me and performed by me and in some cases also with Faith Factor from Faith Lutheran Church, New Port Richey, FL. I always record the first time, mistakes and all. Even when I record by myself I play everything and leave mistakes in because I don't have the time to do it perfect. Just want to remember arrangements.
Most of what I write for the Church are hymns but I also have some rockin' Christian songs. I also write a lot of music to make people laugh, kind of like about things that have happened or situations. One day I may put together a band with a real singer to sing my songs instead of me playing everything and trying to sing. I'm not much of a singer, but I play a good guitar. I play piano and drums fair and I'm learning violin.
