I am Mainly interested in playing as much music as I can right now. I am growing way too weary of working my ass off so hard, it's past time I channell as much power as I can into fucking rocking out! Sure, I got other interests too, I'm interested in just what the hell I am really doing here. Could someone please tell me? I am interested in how little green molecules found in the leaves of trees trap sunlight, combine it with CO2 and sugar and produce energy. How the hell do they do that? And how do Autotrophs sustaian so many carelessly inflicted wounds from parasites such as ourselves and just go on minding their own business (It's called "Compartmentalization"). They are obviously far more advanced than we are. I want to be an Autotrophic man. I am interested in that.
I am also interested in making alot of loud noise that you can feel in your pants.
My maker, so I can ask him what the hell she thought it was doing. "Is this some kind of sick joke?" I also would like to meet other weirdo's, egg-heads, Musicians, Writers, Artists, Mad Scientists, Poets, Obsessive-Compulsive-Bi-polar Sociopath-Schizophrenic-Seventh level Sorcerers (Sorceres's) into Black Magic, Cthulu and Nymphomania. Oh yeah, and I almost forgot I would also like to meet George W. Bush so I can kick him in the balls!

O.K. I admit it, I've been watching MMA and UFC. That guy who got stabbed by a stingray (you know, Steve Irwin), Discovery channel stuff, science, history, educational stuff and sometimes the simpsons, but I really don't watch much T.V.
Currently I am reading "Forest Primeval" by Chris Maser Recently read "Yes Man", it was okay, Iguess I expected more. "The Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan will blow your freakin mind and change your life!!! "The end of Nature" by Bill McKibben, ". Barack Obama's "Audacity of hope" this man should be our next prez."The Golden Spruce", a true story that spans the life of the logging industry and ends up in the Queen Charlotte islands where a unique tree that is sacred to the people of the Haida tribe, falls victim to a negligent ill informed act of protest. Also read "The Botony of Desire"."The World Without Us", another mindblower,it really made me feel guilty and confused and angry and a whole range of emotions. Also recently read "Beyond the Bodyfarm" and "Death's Acre" by Bill Bass. Very Macabre reading but fascinating all the same. He and his cohorts lay a bunch of dead bodies out under different scenerios to watch how they decompose at different rates. Jack Kerouac's Dharma Bums, I know I'm about twenty years late in reading it, but it still held up and gave me the same "hit the road" kind of feeling."The Wild Trees", a fucking amazing book about exactly what I would love to be doing! Einstein's Theory of Relativity (seriously),Henry Miller's Tropic of Cancer, now I too want to show up on the doorstep of France without a penny in my pocket.I also read "Under the Banner of heaven" by Jon Krakauer and it blew my mind! "Catch 22" was a hillarious read, a laugh on every page. Tom Robbins' "Villa Incognito" & "Jitterbug Perfume". Jon Kraukauer "Into the Wild", "Confederacy of Dunces" I have also read the entire "Eye of the world" series by Robert Jordan and am patiently waiting for the next book, it seems it may never come, as he has recently passed away :( Books next in line to read= the selfish gene,A Brief history of time, some more of Kerouac's stuff and more Tom Robbins, see me at goodreads.com/matthewperkins for a real complete list.
