About Me

(Mike) Mike started making music at age 16 but became serious about music at age 25. Mike's passion for music came from his parents who raised him listening to a wide variety of music. It's this blend of music which has influenced Mike's music today.(Howard) I've been performing in bands since the age of 13. My biggest and most successful project was putting together the 8 piece show band Decades By Dezyne. We performed for several years from the mid-80's. As a bass player my influences are Motown's James Jamerson, Sly & The Family Stones, Larry Graham, The Brothers Johnson's, Louis Johnson, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, and Earth Wind & Fire's Verdine White. I consider myself to be a "funk" player and believe "if it doesn't move you......your not doing something right??? I'm currently very much into Smooth Jazz artists like (Wayman Tisdale, Peter White, Richard Elliott, Najee, Foreplay, Brian Culbertson, Dave Koz, Boney James, and many others with one of my new favorite bass players Alex Al holding down the bottom for most of the above artists.(Charles) Charles is a Funky Rock/R&B drummer with a passion for marching percussion. He first picked up sticks at the age of six and has not let go since. Like most drummers he started out playing by ear, but soon after started to take lessons. After about 6 years of Drum Corp, Charles started studying with Steve Michaud who at the time was one of Gary Chaffee's top students. Steve opened the door to Jazz, Latin, and Fusion. In spring of 2005 Charles had the privilege to take private lessons with world class drummer Mike Mangini from Berklee. In addition to the 20 private students of his own, Charles is also the percussion instructor for the Nashua High South Marching Band and the drummer for the New Hope Community Gospel Choir from Ayer, Ma. Chares resides in Nashua NH, with his wife, 2 kids and golden retriever.found this music layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com
