About Me

I am an iconoclast. I certainly don't like too many people enough to talk to them but those with whom I do speak with I genuinely love as friends and family. I am a musician. I play guitar, electric bass, tin whistle, recorder (both in D) and I sing.I have recently developed a proclivity for exploring the recesses of the mind. I've looked up a lot of information about the brain and its different states. For example, when meditating our brains actually give off high levels of alpha waves. We can manipulate our conscious minds simply by thinking and acting certain ways. This intrigues me.I am in high school at the moment. I am a senior. I don't particularly enjoy this institution very much; so many of the people are cardboard cutouts. So many of the poeple are parrots for the popular culture, especially the younger folk.To put it quite frankly, the media is a moneymaking machine. All the clothing, jewelry and music, among other things, are merely pushed on us in order to make money. Let us not be cogs in a massive corporate machine. As you might be able to tell, I've read parts of Noam Chomsky's Necessary Illusions. I've read Orwell's 1984. I've read a lot about LSD, mescaline, psilocybin and ketamine. John C. Lilly, M.D. is one of my personal heroes. My absolute favorite artist is Salvador Dali. My favorite composer: Schumann.I can't describe myself very well. I simply identify with the word iconoclast better than any other. I'm sorry. For any of you who read this, I've updated my page for the following reasons: I've better learned about people, in general. All of the above statements should not be taken too seriously; they are only my opinions and I'm sorry if any of it offends you. I'm not too sorry, though. Individuality is perhaps the most important aspects of being alive. As obvious as that may sound, so many lack just that. This page is my attempt at letting anyone interested in on my personality. Should it clash with yours, I'd hope you have the intelligence to realize that tolerance for individuality is perhaps the second most important part of being alive.

My Blog

This is What I perceive music to be...

Music can transcend the faulty limits of pitch and duration; it can be silver water at the bedside of a victim of sweaty nightmares. It is solace and recapitulated emotion. A black day or still blacke...
