About Me

How's it going? My name's Nigel, I'm from London. I play guitar. I like heavy metal. Really I like different kinds of music. I like the blues very much. I was lucky enough to meet one of my favourite bluesmen, Big Daddy Boozer back in the 60's. He's dead now, he had a bit of a drinking problem. At least I think when you have more alcohol in your blood than plasma, they call that a "problem".I like to customise my guitars a bit. It helps me acheive the right sound and makes playing guitar a more enjoyable experience. There's a very cool trick I do which I discovered some years back. The screws on my pickups are phillips screws, but the one in the middle is a regular screw, a straight one. Most people have 2 straight screws made out of titanium and a philips screw made out of magnesium. But I've flipped them so theres a whole different interaction between the pickups! It helps with the reverberation, and thats really what its all about.Another little trick of mine involves diving down to the nut. Most people think that once you're off the frets, you're like "Sod it, I cant go any further than the F!". But you can! But as you go diving down the nut its very easy to hurt your finger. So I've designed a device called a "nut cozy". Its a little knit thing made of wool that fits over the nut. I've also got a "tone cozy" which is the same type of thing but it goes over the tone controls instead of the nut.Anyway, thats all for now. If anybody wants to ask me about my stuff that I've designed or whatever just gimme a shout. All the bestNige
