Sounds Like: It was a dark winter’s morning in December 2003. Beyond (aka Tim) awakes to a loud alarm screeching from his phone that is some were buried under a pile promos on the floor.
Like clock work the sound of Drum N Bass invades the houses in Beyond’s close when Above’s (aka Mike) car pulls in to the drive.
As Beyond opens the front door Above is pulling bag after bag full of records out the back of his car.
After numerous trips back and fourth from the car to the shed, 3 cups of tea and two strong cigarettes later, the first back to back mixing session is on under way.
This was the beginning of Above&Beyond80's DnB
