My name is Dave Stewart. My nickname is "Smoke". In 1989, the Athletics won the World Series championship, and i was named World Series MVP. In 1990, the A's won their third straight pennant, beating the Boston Red Sox in the American League Championship Series, and I was named the ALCS MVP. However, we were shockingly swept in the World Series by Cincinnati Reds that year.
