About Me

hi. i'm a realisticly-animated cartoon named doug meyer. in this episode i'll attempt to funnel the archetypal joys of the otherworlds for all on this planet to enjoy. in this "real" world, i live in rural northeast ohio, nearest to Bainbridge. i love to create things that in turn, i hope will inspire others. the genius of others will always come out with a little provocation. i'm slowly moving toward an electrical engineering degree. im interested in alternative energy and hope to use my noggin toward this field in later years. for my dayjob, i build industrial furniture for www.clevelandart.com, and i love it! it's a really laid-back design-related small business and the boss takes us out to lunch on fridays. i'm a welder and metalworker by trade, an artist by nature. although i dislike the term artist, cuz it implies classical education, limited media, and selling out. also, taking on a label means not being ready for change. adapting creatively, that's the gist. i'm into some but not all aspects of science, religion, mysticism, psychology, politics, art (including skateboarding and electronic music), and, of course, tomfoolery. being sorta introvert and creative-compulsive keeps me at home with my feet on the ground and my head in the clouds. but please stop by! you will always find me working on my latest project out in the shed and listening to stereolab and squarepusher. i hope you will find great enlightenment during this episode, so please, STAY TUNED...........
