About Me

I started out as a DJ in the New Orleans area around 1990 focusing my sets exclusively on underground Hardcore and Rave tracks. In the year 2000, I moved into producing my own songs fusing these Old School styles with modern and vintage technologies to create a unique form of EDM, Hurricane style. Over the past six years I have constructed a home studio for songwriting. I now live in the Los Angeles area and work exclusively with the exceptionally gifted songwriter and Hip-Hop lyricist, BIG BRO, of New Orleans and fellow composer, Fire Like This.
As everyone knows, hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast in late August, 2005. BIG BRO was not able to evacuate the city of Slidell during the hurricane and rode through the storm in his home. The ferocity of the storm and the events that followed inspired BIG BRO to write some of the most intelligent, heart-felt, and moving lyrics I have ever heard. He has received high accolades from several professionals in the Hip-Hop industry in New Orleans for his work.
BIG BRO, Fire Like This, and myself are now in the process of recording an album based on these powerful lyrics. The proceeds from the album will go towards helping with the ongoing rebuilding of the city of New Orleans by donating the proceeds to the Habitat for Humanity, Covenant House, and Meals on Wheels orginizations. I will post mix downs of these new tracks here on this site for you guys to demo as we move along. We want to give a huge thank you to everyone that's helping us help our home.
