SOUNDTRACK TO MY BOARDING SCHOOL BREAKOUT HAS BEEN RE-RELEASED ON ITUNES WORLDWIDE.
Love, hot nights, torrential downpours, no brakes, heartbreaks, served as a delectable dish of modern pop with a side of intelligentsia and a carafe of fashionista.
Steven Evanne Heinstein, the soul and sole member of Life of Bianca, was born a Scorpio in the 1970s. His horn-playing father spun Miles Davis and ABBA records, while his brothers blared The Cars and Iggy Pop. Steven took a liking to the British post-punk/new-romantic pop sounds across the Atlantic, as well as Motown.
The purchase of a guitar and mic led to records and tours ensuing around the U.S., Europe, and Australia where Steven soaked up the sophisticated pop and dance floor beats. Through an experience filter came Life of Bianca's emotive voice and felicitous-melancholic themes hovering above synthbeats, lush pads, talking strings, and haunting pianos.
A transient soul currently in Los Angeles, Life of Bianca makes its way from discotheques in New York City to television sets in Mexico City. Writing for others, Steven's songs have been recorded by various artists on four different continents, graced ad spots and art installations, feature films, and tele shows.
In late 2006, he was in Los Angeles and London recording a follow-up to "Soundtrack to My Boarding School Breakout."
In a shiny metal briefcase with a chained handcuff is a catalogue of tuneful bliss and sorrow. The combination: YOUR LIFE.
