Blending edgy, dramatic rock with her ethereal, yet strong vocals, Orlando-based singer and songwriter Rachael Wade brings a sound all her own to the independent music scene. She stepped out in 2005 after recording her first self-titled demo with Dax Baumgartner (former band member of the group 'N Sync) who helped bring that sound to life. "Rachael is a very talented young songwriter, whether she draws upon life experience or an active imagination to create her music and lyrics. The final result is an attention-grabbing melody with meaningful themes."Following the demos' release, she began promoting the CD throughout the state of Florida and scored some radio airplay along the way. She has taken the stage at Universal Orlando's CityJazz, performed at various festivals and events including the Broward County, Florida State and North Florida Fairs, and has established a fan base that continues to grow throughout the country. Her new demo, titled "The Next Chapter" will be released in 2008,and Rachael is determined to bring her music to larger audiences. The demo will present fresh material with thought-provoking lyrics and haunting vocals that undoubtedly demand attention. "I really think people will embrace the messages in these songs because they can relate to them. We've all felt discouraged, humbled, empowered...I write whatever I feel when I'm going through something and it becomes my therapy. I think everyone needs some music medicine."Unlike many artists today who seem to sell such a similar identity, Rachael's avant-garde style brings something unique and genuine to the table. Her songs are strong, emotional confessions, and her pounding vocals can't help but captivate you. "Humanity is what inspired these songs. Everyone's searching for something in life-no one is ever perfect, we all struggle and make mistakes. These songs are my personal testimonies of forgiveness, faith, and humility. God's shown me that there is light through all the darkness, and music is my outlet, my way to express that through art. People will let you down, broken dreams will
disappoint you, but Jesus Christ is always faithful."
Performances will be planned following the CD's release and throughout the year.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
