It’s only since October 2006 that the band from Sainte-Julie has its actual line-up. Before this date, the band had 5 members. Today, Face First is, Benjamin Taillefer, Guillaume Morin, Gabriel Choquette and Raphaël Letertre. They are all high school friends who had the same passion, music. After a couple of jam they decided to form a band and play some covers. After a while, they started to write their own stuff. The influences of the band are very wide, it goes from Nickelback to Elvis and from Eminem to Slipknot. During this time, Face First plays in many festivals like Musifonie in Verchères, Rock Open in Montreal, Indie Rock in Montreal, Exposure in Montreal and two times, the band reach the semi-finals of the prestigious Emergenza festival and plays at Le Club Soda in Montreal. Face First also promote their music in different local shows all over Montreal and its suburb, developing an amazing stage presence. Having many strong tunes, Face First is now ready to record a demo. It is at this moment that P-A Bédard enters the game. The guitarist and keyboardist from Prototype-A helps Face First to find their real sound and record their first demo «Stand Tall». The E.P counts 8 songs and an intro, written by Bédard. Stand Tall is launched the 25th September 2007 and receive a warm welcome. With a good demo in hands, the band is now ready to enter the real world of music industry. Many shows are scheduled for winter 2007 and a Quebec-Ontario tour is planned for summer 2008.
