About Me

Independent singer/songwriter Davie Gayle's music simply cuts through the complexities of modern everyday life with delicious doses of retro folk and country rock. Her fans call it smart, witty, poignant, passionate and real. Davie calls it "yin & yang with a twang".

- MP3s: iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody & CDBaby (album)
- CDs: CDBaby, Amazon, and Indie Rhythm

Projects in the works:
Davie and her brother Michael Gayle are rehearsing with a band for a live recording of a 6 song EP of new songs.
Sweet Alyssum is an acoustic trio made up of Davie and her sisters, Pat and Midge. They've been working on a CD titled, "Sister Serenade" and hope to release it later this year. Please visit their page: (myspace.com/sweetalyssumband).

Friday Night Writers:
Dedicated to the craft of songwriting, Davie began hosting "Friday Night Writers", a successful monthly songwriter showcase in the inland empire of Southern California in May 2008. Local songwriters rallied around her enthusiasm and support to bring some of the best live music performances to Flour Fusion in historic downtown Lake Elsinore. Davie's thrilled FNWs is back after a short hiatus with new show dates set. Check out the FNWs new myspace page!
