My mum knew she would have a daughter called "Corina" when she was 13 years old. At the age of 18 she had me. A few hours before I was born, the radio was on as she was lying in bed, listening to the music, waiting for her first child to come out, a late morning in a small Argentinian town, on the 5th of May 1981. I've been singing and writing songs since I was a child. I started to play guitar when I was 15. My first official gig was in Brazil, in 1999. Between 1999 and 2002 I had a spiritual experience that I shared with other artists and musicians all over Brazil, Paraguay and the North of Argentina, where the mountains are high and the condors dance with the wind.After this I went to Buenos Aires where I've been trained as a singer and musician, by many teachers and fellows who played and recorded with me. Between 2003 and 2005 I released 3 unsigned albums, the first one "Un Fresco Amanecer" (A cool sunrise) which includes my songs and covers of Janis Joplin, Tom Jobim, Tom Waits and Madonna, sung and played by me and Nizha Bustos on violin. The second one "Corina Jazz and Bossa", half of it recorded Live in Radio Nacional, played by amazing Argentinian and Cuban musicians. And the third one "Corina Tango". There was also a fourth one, that includes all songs of mine in different styles such as Blues, Folk, Reggae, Soul and Latin, but there was no time to finish it, for my next destination was too close and its name was Europe. I kept on singing on my own in different languages (spanish, italian, portuguese, german, french and english) and styles (Tango, Bossa Nova, Latin, Folk) all around Barcelona, Malaga, Paris and Bretagne. I performed with a band of Folk-Blues-Bossa as well, and sang on board a cruise liner all over the Mediterranean. I came to London in December 2007 and have been presenting my songs at different venues. There's a new Album in production and a Jazz and Bossanova project coming soon. Nevertheless, I am open to sing and play in all kind of Musical Projects. AL REGRESAR CONTINUE VIVIENDO UNA EXPERIENCIA SALVAJE Y ESPIRITUAL POR EL NORTE ARGENTINO. A PARTIR DEL 2002, EN BUENOS AIRES EMPIEZO A ESTUDIAR CANTO Y A HACER CARRERA COMO CANTANTE, GRACIAS A LA INMENSA AYUDA DE OTROS MUSICOS, MAESTROS, AMIGOS, FAMILIA Y DE LA ACEPTACION DE LA AUDIENCIA. POR MEDIO DE LA INCURSION EN EL JAZZ Y LA BOSSANOVA OBTENGO DIVERSAS PRESENTACIONES Y GRATAS EXPERIENCIAS COMO LA DEL INOLVIDABLE GRUPO AINDA, QUE TUVIERON LUGAR EN BUENOS AIRES Y SUS ALREDEDORES, JUNTO A RESPETABLES MUSICOS DE ARGENTINA Y CUBA. TAMBIEN DECIDO APROVECHAR MI VENA TANGUERA Y ME PREPARO PARA GRABAR "CORINA TANGO". EN EL 2005 VIAJO A EUROPA. CANTO EN UN FESTIVAL EN ANDALUCIA Y LUEGO ME QUEDO A VIVIR EN BARCELONA, CONTINUANDO CON MIS SHOWS COMO ARTISTA SOLISTA EN LOS QUE INCLUYO UN REPERTORIO DE DISTINTOS IDIOMAS Y ESTILOS, EL CUAL PRESENTO EN PARIS Y BRETAGNE (FRANCIA). TAMBIEN FORMO UNA BANDA DE FOLK-BLUES-BOSSA, REALIZANDO PRESENTACIONES EN CATALUNYA Y TANGUEO EN DUO JUNTO A GUSTAVO BATTAGLIA EN GUITARRA. EN DICIEMBRE DEL 2007 ME MUDO DE BARCELONA A LONDRES, DONDE VIVO ACTUALMENTE DESCUBRIENDO NUEVOS HORIZONTES Y NUEVOS ESCENARIOS.
