MDP is two guys drawn together by a common bond that both are willing to defend to their death and that common bond is their love for hip hop. MDP is a mix of two worlds.Wizecracker, a.k.a. Josh Ackerman was born in Bronx, NY. In the early 90’s, he relocated to Londonderry, Vermont, home of Ross Powers olympic gold medalist and the birth place of Burton Snowboards. Here he found himself deep in the world of snowboarding, but driven by his love for music and the desire to pursue his dream, Wize moved out to California in the late 90’s.D’oge, a.k.a. Damon Aaron was born and raised in the streets of Oakland, CA. When he was sixteen, he and his mother decided it would be in his best interests to relocate to the San Fernando Valley, where he lived with his uncle. D’oge’s future seemed clear until while attending Alabama State, a Division I school a devastating knee injury ended his basketball career. Back in California he found comfort and direction in hip hop while free-styling with friends.Together the minds and styles of these artists create a sound that is new and unique to hip hop.
