Kid-E (aka Erhan Odunkesen) was always impressed by good music. He discovered funk & jazz in his teens, and he took his first steps into music by DJing at shcool parties.In 2004, he was hired as the resident DJ of Babylon, the leading eclectic club in Istanbul. He opened for acts like NoJazz, Jazzanova, Bent, Erik Truffaz, De-Phazz,Nouvelle Vague,Earth wind Fire, Gilles Peterson Nicola Conte,Bugge. As internationally acclaimed musician Ilhan Ersahin opened a club in Istanbul Nublu:East, he was the resident, to play before Bebel Gilberto, Kudu, and philipe cohen.As a music man known for his eclectic style, Kid-E is not afraid to use nu-jazz, house, disco and techno in his sets.
