------------------------The Great Gig is an ambitious project by a group of Thessalonicean musicians. Started about one year ago, with the intention to make a concert - Tribute to Pink Floyd, but soon took the form of a regular band. Needless to point out the level of difficulty of this enterprise, the accuracy needed in order to render the songs with respect to Pink Floyd, but also to add our personal touch in every song. After almost one year of rehearsing, the band gave their first concert on the 21st of September 2006, in Xylourgio of Mylos in Thessaloniki. The gig was welcomed with enormous warmth, sentiment, applause and praise. None of us anticipated such a success! We are about to start playing lots of live shows in Thessaloniki and hopefully, throughout the country. We depend on your support and love for the music of this incredible legendary band that we all carry deep under our skin...
