Freaky yo est originaire de la Mayenne, tout commence en 95, avec la création du collectif Passtek et l organisation de différentes soirées, ces mix sont déjà à tendance tekno et hard tekno
A partir de 98, il quitte la région ouest pour se diriger vers le sud de la France, ou il fit de nombreuses rencontres musicales. En 99, il travaille en collaboration avec DJ Papillon auteur des soirées Tribal Fusion, un mix à deux orienté plutôt House and Funky, accompagné de grosse session scratch….
L’année 2000 fut un peu comme un vrai tremplin grâce à la rencontre avec Richard Duke, Freaky Yo intègre l’association Klimax, regroupement de DJ, peintre, graphiste, musicien…
Ses mix sont très variés, soul, funk, house and drum and bass….
Il participe à différents évenements , avec la participation au Intensitiv by Klimax à Pau, soirée à tendance Jungle / Drum and Bass, à l’electropole de Dijon accompagné de DJ Peak, aux soirées avec l’association Ultim 8 dans les hautes Pyrénées, et à différentes soirées electro dans le sud ouest
En 2003, il collabore avec un groupe de Funk de Pau « Les Poissons Rouges » qui sorte leur premier album « L’Ame Son », Freaky yo accompagne un morceau à tendance Hip Hop par des phases de scratch. En 2005, il réside au Street, afin de travailler ses sessions Lounge, House et Drum and Bass, cette année la aussi, il rejoint la Duke Industry, l histoire continue……..

Freaky Yo comes from La Mayenne, it all started in 95, together with the creation of Passtek and a number of organised techno and hard techno nights.
