About Me

Its kinda funny now that I have gotten around to filling this out, my mind is blank. Born and raised in the GTA, I live in North York now. Life has turned out quite different from what I expected. But I guess thats why they they say it has to be lived to be experienced. I went to Richmond Hill High School, and one year to Western with dreams of pursiing a career in Medicine. Born to Korean Parents most asians especially first generation will probably relate. My education took me around North America. I did my bachelors in Texas and even went to Hawaii for 3 weeks doing a field natural history course studying the biodiversity to finish up my bachelors in biology. Along the way with my chemistry minor, I decided to pick up a minor in English. Although it was a heavy workload. I loved every minute of it. I think I actually enjoyed the english literature and writing classes more than the science classes I took. I ended up taking the DAT and MCAT tests, and ended up Dental School because my MCAT scores could have been better. I finished 2 years of Dentistry in California and passed part 1 boards. Then life or fate decided my life was to take another course. I ran out of money and didn't end up finishing. Naturally when you face a life changing event like that there is an adjustment phase until you get right in the head. For me it took some time for me to get off the mat so to speak. I floated from various jobs ranging from dental labs to retail sales until I took a job in cold call sales which in all honesty changed my life. It wasn't easy but it was an amazing experience because it was a challenge. Also the personal growth I experienced in the 5 months I was there is probably comparable the the first 5 years of life where one learns to walk and speak. Sales isn't easy but you meet alot of interesting people, and you develope a thick skin because its a numbers game. Now I'm in real estate pursuing everyones goal, of financial freedom. In the 35 years I have walked this planet all I can say is its been interesting in the very least. Enjoy every moment and really try to keep a positive outlook on life. Things will happen that you may not like or expect or want, but the real determining factor will be how you deal with it. Lets face it we are all humans and we will face failure and dissapointment. You only fail when ya give up inside. Success will be the end result of holding onto your dream, and learning from our mistakes. Whats really important is not what happens to ya but how you deal with it. Also take to the time to examine your life and ask yourself questions. That will determine if your moving forward or spinning yours wheels. Don't be afraid to try new things, its part of growing as a person because when your not learning or growing your dead or miserable. I like to read, listen to music and go out with friends and have a good time. I also like to keep physically active. Currently I'm working on my genetic rice farmers build and trying to fill out a shirt. And I'm always on the look out for the special person who will one day be in my life.

My Interests

I like to take long walks in the park to clear my mind and think. I enjoy reading a variety of books ranging classic literature, science fiction, fantasy, and current issues ranging from world issues to business. I like biographies because you get to see the struggles a person had to go through to get to where they were meant to be. I like staying physically active and go to Capoeira which is a Brazillian martial art. Also I have a really good friend who I go out with from time to time to try different cuisines from different cultures. I discovered I really like Indian food, as well as Ethiopian food. And I have a new passion of photography now that I got a new camera. I'm also a die hard Leaf Fan. ...

Glimpse Through the Veil

I haven't written in a long while.  The reason being, there were things which I had yet to come to terms with.  And I needed time to think, to work out things in my mind. ...
