DJ Kryp2nite, or Andre Joiner as he is known at home, began his career as a DJ at the young age of 13. His passion for music was always the focus, spending hours of his days studying the mixes of the great DJs before him to hone his skills, in the hope of one day working as a professional DJ.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, DJ Kryp2nite has always been surrounded by the diverse music that floods his hometown. Rock, 80s, Hip Hop, Funk and Pop blared from his speakers constantly, influencing the mixes he puts together today.
He considers 2009 a triumphant year in his DJ career, when he made it through as Intern of the summer at 97.1 AMP Radio, culminating in his employment status of resident DJ for the station.
DJ Kryp2nite believes that every DJ should take their listener or crowd on a musical journey, a journey that brings back memories because turntables have no limits.
