About Me

Formed from the flotsam and jetsam of Blackpool band Erase Today, Higgins ++ (pronounced higgins plus plus and cunningly based on the concept of the computer language C++) started as a solo project but has now expanded to a three piece. It is basically a continuing (yet largely failing) attempted collaboration of local musicians playing my songs.Current members are Andy Higgins (bass - vox) , Steve Stringer (gtr - vox) and drums has been alternating between Paul (ex Raymonds), Tommy Couch (One Way System) and Ratfink (Alien Sex Fiend, Erase Today, Uncle Fester/UFX). Other people who have played in the band have been UKNige and Boothy (Sick56) and Dunny (Delmars).Releases to date include Commercial Brake CD album (JSNTGM 012), and two split singles with SICK56 Out of a Black Pool (JSNTGM 016) and New Day New Enemy (JSNTGM 017) and a few compilation tracks on Godspunk Volume 2 (PUMF 476). As these on-line tracks have only been released on vinyl, we will add these to a CD we will be recording later this year possibly called 'Human All too Human' and based around the philosophy of Nietzsche.
