About Me

"A dusty bookshop is a haunted place, Where ghosts of poets meet when midnight falls; How well I know the wan, familiar face, And wraith-like form that peers from wailing walls. But cross the threshold, on adventure bond, Of some old bookshop where the moonlight streams, You step, transfigured on enchanted ground, And wander with the bards of deathless dreams. For often in a shop of yellowed times I loitered idly on a lonely night Among the musty shelves. What snaring rhymes And trapping tales would lend my soul delight! And once I tarried there when midnight fell, But what I saw no mortal tongue can tell."-Morris Abel Beer-

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

If you are a published writer and would like to reserve our Coffee Bar for a reading, please email us. Our public events are scheduled on Friday evenings from 5p-7p, Saturdays from 11am-7pm, and Sundays from 1pm-5pm. We invite you to bring whatever you'd like to present, do a reading or discussion, sell your own books and sign them. We will advertise the event to our customers and the public, provide a comfortable venue and our Coffeebar will be open to offer coffee and snacks. We expect you to share with us the basic content of your presentation to help us discern the appropriate age level of the audience and to know how best to promote your event. If you have adult-themed material, we'd like to be able to distribute that information to our customers so they can make an informed decision regarding their and their children's attendance. We expect that you will bring any special equipment you might need, e.g. a microphone, projector or recording device; however, if you need assistance with electrical hookups, please let us know in advance. If you have a website, please inform us of the URL and we will post that on our Events page of our website. We appreciate you thinking of us and look forward to meeting you. [email protected]
