I love writing stories, reading, anime, cooking, digital photography, French Literature, collecting rings/bracelets from around the world, TV and movies, gardening, surfing the Internet, traveling, psychology, making greeting cards, the Boston Red Sox, and drinking good coffee.
I'd like to meet:
Manny Ramirez. He's my favorite baseball player of all time. That baggy uniform, his sexy hair, the way he slams a ball out of the park, his ability to throw a ball from left field and get a runner out, his sweet innocent smile, those crazy career stats, oh god, don't get me started. Ask and I'll share my two surreal Manny moments, one in the stands when the Red Sox played at Anaheim in August 2005, and the following year during pre-game warm up, again at Anaheim. I hope to experience a game at Fenway before I die. I'm also crazy about Wentworth Miller ("Prison Break") and Jensen Ackles ("Supernatural").
I'm interested in meeting other writers and small press publishers, drug and alcohol students and counselors, Manny Ramirez and Boston Red Sox fans, coffee fiends, TV addicts and other nightowl psychos.

Your Psyche is Violet
You are spiritual, intuitive, and serene.
People trust you to rescue them from bad situations, and you usually come through.
While you are quite enlightened, you find that your path is very lonely.
When you are too violet: you can't connect to ordinary life or ordinary people.
When you don't have enough violet: you lack wisdom and can't learn from the past.
What Color Is Your Psyche?
Dark Purple
To others, you seem a bit dark, mysterious, and moody.
In truth, you are just a very unique person who doesn't care what others think.
And you really enjoy your offbeat interests and friends.
You've decided that life is about living for yourself - simple as that.
What Color Purple Are You?

Books:
My favorite author is Emile Zola. No one compares to him. I’ve collected most of THE ROUGON-MACQUART series – I started back in 1996 and have 16 of the novels so far. Four more to go. Coming in at a close second is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. ONE YEARS OF SOLITUDE blew me away. I’m currently reading his LOVE IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA. He’s an amazing storyteller. Other favorites include Guy de Maupassant, Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, John Steinbeck and Dean Knootz. My favorite novel is THE STAND by Stephen King (the uncut version). Other unforgettable books are PERFUME (The Story of a Murderer) by Patrick Süskind, and THE MARTIAN CHRONCILES by Ray Bradbury.

Jesus, Grandma Mamie, Emile Zola, Dave Williams, Rudy Q., Great-Grandmother Hicks, Great-Grandfather Hicks, John F, Kennedy, Manny Ramirez, my 5th-grade teacher Mrs. Herron, Martin Luther King, Dominique Trieger-Carter, the 2004 & 2007 Boston Red Sox, and Vladamir the Sock Monkey.
