My name is Dave, I'm 25 and live in Caldicot, South Wales. This year I finished my bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Games Development. Now I work for a small IT company called AlphaLogix doing technical support and development.
In my spare time I play bass guitar in a funk/ska band called The Coloursound Experiment . I'm very passionate about music and I love to watch live bands. I have fairly broad tastes in music and I'm always on the lookout for something new. If it sounds good then I'll listen to it regardless of style or genre.
I also study traditional Shotokan Karate with the Karate Do Shotokai under Mitsusuke Harada. I train twice a week at the University of Wales, Newport .
When I'm not gigging or training I try to spend as much time as I can with my friends and family. My family and friends are really important to me, I couldn't get by without them.
I also love movies and enjoy going to the cinema with my friends. My favourite types of movie are action, adventure, science fiction and comedy.
I'm an easy going and friendly person. I love to socialise and enjoy nothing more than a few pints down my local pub with my friends. I'll chat to pretty much anyone (within reason) and I like to meet new and interesting people.
I don't like people who put others down to make themselves feel bigger. I treat everyone I meet with respect and equality. I have no time or patience for people who treat others badly.
One of my many ambitions is to travel to the far east. I have always been fascinated by far eastern cultures and when I can afford it I hope to visit China, Japan and Thailand.
