Race Tech’s Paul Thede has a background that includes graduating Summa Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering, 36 years of motorcycle maintenance, a professional motocross racer, and he is a published author and teacher. He has become the “professor†of sorts amongst motorcycle suspension technicians. Since Race Tech’s inception of early 1984, Paul has single handedly revolutionized the suspension industry with such advancements as the Digital Valving System, Gold Valve, Gold Valve Emulator, Delta Valve, ShockClock and most recent G2-R Gold Valve. In addition, Paul conducts suspension theory seminars, produced a (how-to) Technical Edge suspension video and the Mental Edge video and Logbook.
