I have seen and heard a lot of potential in this country. I believe our music industry is rapidly growing with amazing talent and passion but our country just doesn’t have the right resources to get our bands the exposure and reward that over seas does. It is sad to me that everyone knows that if they want to make their passion their career they would have to go give it a shot over seas. Unlike some fake pop artists that are splashed over every magazine in the world who only signed the contract for the fake “good life” but cant sing without a lot of editing equipment…. . If our musicians are so dedicated and passionate about what they do, then they deserve the chance to have that passion their career. Its not right that they still have to work nine to five jobs everyday and then practice and then maybe… depending if we have the right venues… play night and weekend gigs. That completely takes the passion out of it and sooner or later most I have seen have just given up. Or like I have also seen …. Changed their entire style even though it was amazing before…. Just to fit in to the trend setting band shit to get somewhere. How can that be doing what they want and live for!! I’m not saying every artist in our country deserves a shot at a record label, more money than they can spend and worshipped by everyone… we still want to keep the realism! We still want it about the pure passion rather than arrogance. But slowly but surely a little more exposure… a little more support. It could cause only a tiny ripple… but that ripple could go a very far way. So I plan on slowly but surely … even if it means getting my fingers dirty… to cause that little ripple. It might die out or it could go a far way. The only way of knowing is by trying!!I AM NOT EMO i do however love music and music. i love drumming and going to gigs. my friends think im a little crazy... but what is normal?? i listen to a lot of different music but my fav is punk rock/rock/hard rock. i am obsessed with the sea even tho i live days away from it!!i used to try being as different as possible but now being different has become a grand trend!!! so i love people who are just themselves!!i dont like arrogance or people that enjoy taking the piss out of others for a living!!i can be completely down to earth or completely crazy!!never the same day!! the rest comes with getting to know me!! check out my blog... http://anti-anonymity.blogspot.com I am supposed to be irish altho i don have ornage hair but i def hav the blue eyes and def love the potatoes..dont irish people like potatoes!!! errrrr ok and i believe i was switched at birthcos i aiint like no oone i ever seen before... in our family that is
