As an Armenian native, emog (Emile V.) moved to Montreal, Canada in 1975. Bored of the Montreal music scene, emog moved to Vancouver and first made a name for himself spinning at beach parties – BP1 and BP2 in 1999 and 2000. Then he moved up and played at Mountain Party 1 with 800 people in the forests of the Whistler surrounding area. His biggest event was at Shambhala from 2002 to 2005 - an outdoor Music Festival in the British Columbia Kootenay region with lots of fans.
From 2000 to 2004, as the founder of Global DJ’s, he promoted the Vancouver underground electronica scene and threw parties representing over 25 DJ’s.
emog is sent to higher places as he acts as composer, producer and musician.
His love for music is relentless - by 2009, he created 100s of tracks . With inspirations from love and dance, limitless boundaries led him to create his own genre of music – Tribal Tech. emog continues to spread his love to the world through music.
