Mison was born and raised in Korea, moved to the US as a teenager to pursue her dream, to become a fashion designer. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Fashion Design at the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. While in school she received numerous awards and won fashion competitions for her work. She also worked as a designer at several well-respected and known companies. With her wealth of fashion knowledge, keen sense of style and wide range of experience, She headed out to the San Francisco bay area to start her own business. Having an eye for detail, she initially focused on designing and creating couture-wedding gowns and evening wear for her exclusive clients. Her shop, 'Bridal Etc. ', was located in downtown Los Altos and through her exquisite bridal designs she helped hundreds of women realizing their dream of a perfect wedding. She had tremendous success with her business and wanted to reach more people with her stylish clothing design. To enhance her knowledge even more, she went to work for 'EunHwa' in Paris, a high-end contemporary fashion house with stores in Paris, Milan, Madrid and New York among other places. She worked as a designer creating a successful line of clothing. When she came back from Paris, she opened her existing business, 'Mison'. She is currently designing her contemporary clothing and has already gained huge popularity nationwide. Her design is sophisticated, sexy and stylish, yet simple with a European flair. The clothes are marketed though her own store in Los Gatos and through other boutiques in the US and Canada.Mison is currently showing in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Georgia and Las Vegas.
