I love reading any trashy novel I can get my hands on, watching dramas on tv, playing video games with my son, and knitting when I can find the time. My biggest interest, other than my kid, is probably my obsession with HSX. I've been playing for over 7 years now and have done quite, quite well. Too bad it's fake money!
I'd like to meet:
World leaders so I can knock their heads together. Hopefully, common sense and decency would prevail.
The fluffier side of me would like to meet Toby Rand and the other boys from Juke Kartel. Fun would be had by all.
Music:
I have another obsession in life. Yes, I'm a Toby Rand/Juke Kartel freak! All other music is taking backseat at the moment. However, after rediscovering them a few nights ago, I need to give props to one of the greatest bands of all time: Faith No More. I will alway, always love them for what they added to my life.
Movies:
You'd think that I'd have a looooong list of movies I've recently seen and loved, considering I play an .. movie game...BUT...I don't. I've been too busy to see many movies lately, and I'm bummed about it. Typically, I've been catching them on cable or DVD months after release. As for favorites, I still love the originial Star Wars Trilogy (you know, the ones before George lost his mojo) and The Matrix (mostly because Keanu is so hot in it). I'm also a huge, huge sucker for a decent chick flick (though your definition of "decent" might be quite different from mine!)
Television:
It's all about Grey's Anatomy for me. Love, love, love the characters, writing, dialogue, stories. Great show. I generally enjoy TV dramas, but I've never really gotten into the half hour sitcoms. Something super fantastic would have to come along to catch my attention.
Books:
Hmmm...I'll just list Nora Roberts and Jayne Ann Krentz as my favorite authors for now. I've followed them from their very first books, and it's been fun watching them rise to the top. It definitely helps that they write strong female characters who are smart and capable.
Heroes:
Anyone who takes care of people in need, whether it be here in the US or throughout the world. We need more compassion and people who are willing to give their time to others. I admire each and every one of them.
