Online Status Icons Malaysian Independent Music or M.I.M is not a band but a relatively new organization founded by a bunch of guys who feel the need to promote the local rock outfit, kick out the negative influences in rock music like drugs as well as to provide a small platform for the unsigned bands in Malaysia to make a break in the scene. Founded in September 2006, this organization hopes to achieve its goals as soon as possible. Besides that, this organization will also start to host gigs in the near future. We invite rock lovers from around the country as well as around the world to leave their comments on what they think about our space. Besides that, we would like to invite all you people out there to check out M.I.M's official bands which are Jah'z Diciples and Ask Me Again. Jahz Deciples is a 100% local progressive/screamo sounds out of this world. Ask Me Again on the other hand is an experimental band that basically play their own genre. Finally, we would like to invite all the bands in Malaysia to add us and support this ongoing movement so that we can achieve our main goal, which is to be on par with the international rock scene and to get rid of the negative image that rock music currenly possesses. We are also welcoming local djs to join this movement. Besides having 2 official bands, mimonline also decided to bring onboard a local dj. Rohit Rampal a.k.a. DJ HIT arguably Malaysia's youngest act in the djing scene is definately a talent to look out for.
