Michele a.k.a. Pianomigi oder Migi, ist der Keyboarder der schweizer Reggae-, Dancehall-, Hip Hop Backing-Band "The Dubby Conquerors".
Schon als Kind, immer mit Pianos und Keyboards beschäftigt, hat er sich längst das nötige Fingerspitzengefühl angeeignet, um auf Alben wie "Elijah - Beweg di", "Phenomden - Gangdalang", oder "Dodo - Reggae Against The Machine" seine eigenen Styles und Hooks zu platzieren.
Mit dem Digital-Release von "Cookie the Herbalist" ("Who dem") erscheint nun erstmals ein allein produzierter Dancehall-Beat.
Auf der diesjährigen "Elijah - Beweg di Outernational" Tour und Konzerten mit Phenomden, Raggabund, Cali-P, Dodo, Lee Everton, Kamilean und diverse weitere präsentiert er sich live mit "The Dubby Conquerors" auf Festivals wie das Summerjam, Chiemsee Reggae Festival, Ruhr Reggae Sommer, Rototom Sunsplash, Weedbeat, Openair St. Gallen und vielen mehr!
Die restliche Zeit nützt er, um an seinen eigenen Riddims, Hip Hop-Beats, Filmmusik Kompositionen und Remixes zu arbeiten.

Swiss Reggae HipHop Dancehall Backing Band!

In the year 2005 a group of musicians based in Zurich got together and founded The Dubby Conquerors [DCQ] as a Reggae Music Backing Band. Quickly it became apparent that the group would not be satisfied with occasional concerts and some local acknowledgement. Together with the rising swiss reggae star Elijah they created an explosive live-show – based on roots reggae, spiced up with dancehall and hip hop elements.
Two years later they climbed to the next level, recording the major part of Elijah’s debut album, which led to an extensive tour and heavy radio airplay in Switzerland. They also started working as a backing band for other artists. By now they’ve shared the stage with Cali P, Million Stylez, Raggabund, Phenomden, Lee Everton, Dodo and many others. Special highlights include a sold-out show at Moods Club in Zurich [DCQ backing Phenomden, Elijah and Dodo] and the swiss singjay link-up 2008 [DCQ backing Million Stylez and numerous swiss newcomers].
At the present time DCQ are doing what they’re best at: making music, producing riddims, touring with different artists – showing the crowds that modern reggae music has it all: the message, the melodies and the energy.
