About Me

Born (and raised) in Liverpool, now living (and lowered) in London, James is an acoustic and electric guitarist, vocalist, producer and occasional graphic artist who has written many songs, instrumentals and some music for picture. His first album for Jahenca entitled "Sweetener" is a fine collection of acoustic-guitar-flavoured material, echoing his James Taylor, Paul McCartney and Cat Stevens influences. It has been well received and continues to sell, despite limited exposure (the track "Saturday Morning" has been featured regularly since 2004 on several BBC Radio Merseyside programmes in the UK).A new album "Overspill" is scheduled for release in January 2010, which will see James expand somewhat on the previous, stripped-down production values of "Sweetener". A single from the album - "The Sun Is Cracking The Flags" - will be released shortly thereafter, accompanied by a splendid video presentation which will take the aforementioned, musical material into an entirely different conceptual dimension.....It might have colours in it.
