Some fresh news about MONOLOOP
Monoloop is back after participating successfully in the side projects Motel 21, Northcutz and Syntax Error plus releasing his own tracks “Hypersensual Love†on Sugaspin and “I Say Yeah†on Fadersport.
After Desto..s big clubsmasher „Mondwiese“ and Monoloop..s debut single „I say yeah“ Fadersport comes along with a big collaboration of these both electro headhonchos. The apathetic, dominant and furthermore german vocal of „Ohrenrausch“ is by now well known by clubbers all over the globe. So this track will be a massive club-bomb and floorfiller in future. The whole package of „Ohrenrausch“ includes remixes by Clubstone, Dirty Sunchez, Thomas Heat vs. Hot n Dirty and Chris Oldman. A heavy rotation of „Ohrenrausch“ is guaranteed by this incredible remix package! So prick up your ears and dance!!!

First in 1994 Monoloop represented straight Drum..n..Bass at the time and was taken part decisively in building up the northern Germany Drum..n..Bass scene. Being one of the DJs at the legendary “Powerhouse†he was also performing at the “Mojo†and the “Marqueeâ€, both situated on the Reeperbahn.
His first singles have been released on the famous Hamburg label â€Fischkopf“ where he was also remixing the track „Direktmarketing“ for the Hamburg band Fischmob.
After a short creative break being influenced by UK Garage and House tracks his style changed into UK Garage / 2 Step. In this period the track “Shame†has been released with Tune Records in the year 2000.
Due to the growing UK Garage and 2Step scene at the time in Hamburg Monoloop was performing at the notorious venues “Lounge†and “Brooke..s Motelâ€.
Since his career started Monoloop produced quite a variety of artists such as Jovan (Chinamoon Rec.), Motel 21 (Sugaspin), Syntax Error (Kontor), Desto , Nortcutz (Kinddom Kome Cutz) and remixed Swen G., Inusa, Young MC or Bigworld just to mention some.
