I was born in the south of Germany. After playing rock guitar in school bands,
I studied classical piano and singing in Essen and Hamburg.
But studying all the classical stuff didn't satisfy me completely,
and so I composed all kinds of music in my free time
and played keyboards in a party band of Jazz students: that was fun!
After becoming a member of the Berlin Radio Choir I founded the band "Breathe"
with Karin Helmstaedt and Judith Engel. My inspiration to write music are pictures and lyrics.
