MIRROR TEST IS A ROCK BAND FROM BERLIN/GERMANY AIMING TO CREATE HARD ROCK MUSIC BORDERING TO METAL. YET, THE MUSIC MAINTAINS A CINEMATIC ATMOSPHERE THAT BRINGS IT CLOSER TO AMBIENT JAZZ, PSYCHEDELIC ROCK OR VARIOUS MOVIE SCORES. MIRROR TEST WAS FOUNDED IN THE SUMMER OF 2005 BY YOSHI (TILL) ON VOCALS/GUITAR, YUU PLAYING THE BASS AND LEO OCCUPYING THE SEAT BEHIND THE DRUM KIT. HOWEVER, A YEAR SPENT WRITING SONGS, PLAYING SHOWS AND GENERALLY EVOLVING LATER, LEO LEFT THE BAND DUE TO MUSICAL DIFFERENCES. AFTER A GAP OF SEVERAL MONTHS, TILL (ANOTHER ONE) FILLED THE GAP SHORTLY BEFORE CHRIS ENTERED THE BAND TO TAKE CARE OF KEYBOARDING TASKS. CURRENTLY, MIRROR TEST SPEND THEIR TIME PRACTICING TO PLAY A RECORD RELEASE SHOW FOR THEIR FIRST MINI ALBUM, [VOYAGE], WHICH WILL BE ON SALE IN LATE MARCH.

Today... bad news are on the schedule, unfortunately. Fact is we broke up. NOT KIDDING! We feel sorry, but the last months showed that a couple of reasons, one of them being the infamous artistic differences, prevented us from remaining the band we were. Lots of thanks and love to the people who loved our music and encouraged us; Wanda, Fesat, Warui and Acekay in particular. The good news, however, is that vague plans for a new band featuring Yuu as the lead singer and Yoshi as the guitar player/second singer are being made, we'll keep you in touch. Of course our album is still for sale, so if you want a copy - tell us. We'll keep the account open for a couple of months... Again, all the best to you out there who care.
