About Me

"Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy."
YES!!
My name is sharon. I am very patient. I love to drive. I love the crisp leaf scented air of fall- to me it is the essence of life and that one scent makes me celebrate the fact that I lived to see another winter.
I have lived in many different places, relocating on an average of every 1-2 years. I keep to myself mostly- not because i dont like people but because most people don't like me. I love jazz. One day I will open my own Jazz Club, I hope to see you there.
My second love is the beach. I hope to live close to one. I like to get there about dusk and stay until most other people have gone home- so then I can swim sans clothes. It is the most wonderful experience. Once I sold my beach towel for $20 to a frantic man who ran off into the night with it...interesting time.
My third love is painting. Drawing is nice, but there is just something about smearing the colored goo around on a canvas, or paper or cardboard or on the wall or on the person sitting next to you- its so satisfying.
"One of the strongest motives that lead men to art and science is escape from everyday life with its painful crudity and hopeless dreariness, from the fetters of one's own ever-shifting desires."
I enjoy walking in the rain.
I adore the night. Everyone and everything takes on this magical smoothness in the dark. I love the lights, energy, obscurity and the mystery.
And what could make the night more perfect than a cup of coffee and a cigarillo. Sitting at a small table on the patio of some coffee shop, with a few good people. You can hear nature and technology mixed- with the crickets chirping and the cars rushing by on the freeway. And there's always the low richness of the jazz flowing out of the sound system speakers like smoke, curling around and permeating the air.
I could live and die there, and never miss a thing.
I'm a Seinfeld buff.
Sometimes I wonder if I am sitting in a straight jacket in some mental institution, and my entire life is all a psychotic delusion. If every person, event and feeling is simply imagined...
I want to go to bartending school, get my BA in graphic design, be a chauffeur, visit greenland, open a jazz lounge, and whatever else may come my way in life. Then when I'm old, i'll live in a house with my best friend and we'll have 5 cats and drink hot tea and read books. I can't wait.
You Are a Dreaming Soul
Your vivid emotions and imagination takes you away from this world
So much so that you tend to live in your head most of the time
You have great dreams and ambitions that could be the envy of all...
But for you, following through with your dreams is a bit difficult
You are charming, endearing, and people tend to love you.
Forgiving and tolerant, you see the world through rose colored glasses.
Underneath it all, you have a ton of passion that you hide from others.
Always hopeful, you tend to expect positive outcomes in your life.
Souls you are most compatible with: Newborn Soul, Prophet Soul, and Traveler Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

a parallel me. Anyone who shares my interests and wants to live anything but a normal life. A travelling street musician who wants company.

I would live under a bridge if it was with the right person.
