Christopher Johnson was born in Norway near a little town called Stavanger on the 23rd of June 1985.Now a 23-year-old singer/ songwriter blessed with a soulful, passionate voice and the natural gift of being able to tell a story in a song.
Coming from a very international background with a French/British Father and a Filippina mother.Chris grew up with both his parents,an older brother and a younger sister.Love you guys:)Chris says:
"I enjoy writing my own music and lyrics,songwriting has become almost a passion.I've been involved in music since I was just a kid,growing up in Jakarta(Indonesia).At age 11 I had bought my first guitar and my first drum set at age 13,both moments where life changing,feeling eager to develop my music skills.My father is my biggest inspiration until this day.He was the one who introduced me to sort of music I could relate to."Chris always loved to sing ever since (Remembered his mother),he used to sing a tune everywhere he could,recitals,class,at home ect..
So he then decided to start his first band at age 14 playing the drums and singing cover songs,in a music room,with his older brother Fred Johnson,who was also very keen on discovering the music world at the time but never pursued."I then moved in 1999 to Norway/OSLO,where my Journey continued.Started a band here too with my good friends The Unpredictable's & ("LES étrangers") in 2003 and held a 3 hour concert at a showcase.I mostly sang all the songs we played.
Took my last year of high school in Paris where i met wonderful people who where very supportive of me,and gave me good advice."
Christopher then later hooked up with one of the members of an up N coming Rap group/Producers.And continues to work with them and other up and coming Artists on a regular basis today.Hope you listen to my music.
