Let's see...Tracy and Chad met in 1989 and formed TANTRUM a "hair metal" group. They found Steve Perkins a drumline player at McNeese univ. and re-formed as THINGFISH in 1990. THINGFISH we're more in the Janes Addiction mold than the previous LA GUNS style. THINGFISH toured the gulf region and developed a strong following quickly. This was the age of Lollapalooza and grunge so, they had their feet deeply cemented in that style. In 1992 they had a regional radio hit with "congregation of fools" later that year they dis-banded. Tracy moved to Austin Tx. and joined the UK punk outfit CAFE FLESH and soon joined the band CHOKE where he is still a member. Chad got married,had children, and started "several" succesfull business ventures. Steve moved to Houston,James joined the military, Chris Bourque moved to Houston and formed HOUSE OF MOIST [with former Snydley Whiplash vets].....over,done,right?....well...some time around 2001, Tracy, tired from touring and screaming every night, and Chad...just ready to play again...decided to start playing again as a duo..just to see what would come of it. Then they started getting booked....QUITE A BIT!!!! Now they just play stuff that they liked while they were growing up in the 80's...it is an escape from work and everyday pressures...They are in no-way trying to be famous or cool....they have become a party band.
