Bursting with pride....those of you who know me, know why!!

About Me

Ok, could life get any better? I have been on cloud 9 for awhile now and HAVE to let it all out!!! Two of my favorite people (who happen to be a perfect match) in the world are getting married (and not that this is why I am so happy about it, but WE ARE GOING ON A CRUISE, BABY), my volleyball team makes me proud to be their coach every day - we are having so much fun and kicking butt, not to mention BEING RANKED (4th), these girls have no idea how amazing they are (and that is what makes them even more amazing), Dave is living his dream playing volleyball in Europe (so proud of him too!!), I have a great family and everyone is healthy - Natalie is having a birthday soon...Happy Birthday, Sweet Natalie, I have actually had time to spend with friends that I love and miss most of the time because of volleyball (Tina & Bob + cute Keegan and Gavyn, Carolyn, Neill, Kelly, Dave, George, Adrienne, Hillary, Brandy, & Shan & anyone I missed). Thanks again to everyone who made my birthday the best ever. It is nice to feel loved! I don't think I've felt joy or happiness in the past year, I am happy to be happy again, finally....I love you dad, I'll miss you every day...and I promise to start enjoying life again. Now on a day to day.... I teach, coach, workout a bit, coach some more, love sports...and you can look at my pics and see that I LOVE to travel...went to Germany / Austria this summer with my "mostest funnest" friend, Carolyn...(I teach English)...I've also been to Spain (going again next summer + Portugal), Australia, Hawaii, and so on....coolest experiences - Bullfight in Burgos, Skydiving in Canada, scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef, being in Berlin after the World Cup Game vs. Argentina, meeting my volleydork heros last summer in Cincinatti (that's where I was, A....courtside, by the way...sitting right next to Misty & Kerri...I love my job and I DO NOT want to talk to any students on here...EVER!! This is so I can stay in touch and talk to FRIENDS....no one under 21...I MEAN IT....or I'll haveta go private and I don't want to!!!..Myspace Graphics

My Interests

Let's see - volleyball, volleyball, volleyball, if and when I have time for anything else, I do love to read...I'm DONE getting another master's (because I'm stupid and wanted to spend all my time and money not learning anything new!!).Also, I love my job(s) - all of them, I love my dog (Maxi), I love friends, I love my family, I love my brother and his beautiful wife, Shan, and most of all my neices (who I probably love more than anyone or anything, but I don't see them enough b/c they were smart and moved out of MI), I love my house (especially since someone was way too good for me and made it way nicer!), I love "my volleyball girls", and I love my sweet, FUN roomate. In the name of balance - I don't love Marygrove, mushrooms, yelling, mean people, incompetent people, hurting someone (obviously unintentionally), or asparagus!I have a HUGE interest in moving away (I just never had the courage to do it alone - hey, at least I'm honest about being a coward)! I want to live in Europe (1st choice and I MIGHT just get that chance), Australia, B.C., or even possibly California. I am seriously considering taking a leave of absence and living in Europe for a year. Everytime I go there, I feel like that is where I belong. I love the lifestyle and subtle, intangible differences between Europe (actually most other countries) and the U.S.A. I guess a vacation there every summer would work if I can't actually MOVE there.

I'd like to meet:

I'm not interested in picking up men/boys on myspace. My site is rated PG, please. I just want the opportunity to look in on how friends are doing and the possibility that a long lost friend (like Holly - where are you?) will find me on here. So save the pick up lines, thanks!

Music:

all - as long as I can understand the lyrics.

Movies:

too many- easier to say what movies I don't like - anything with Steven Seigal or Jean Claude Van Damme...besides that, I'm pretty open minded!

Television:

none....oh, wait, I lied...Monday Nights 8 pm...FOX..I need to add Wentworth to those I want to meet!

Books:

currently rereading two of my favorite books - "Wuthering Heights" and "The Historian". I tend to reread books a lot; I think I am obsessed with the romance of Wuthering Heights and am waiting for my own "tormented Heathcliff" to pine over me forever until one day we find each other!

Heroes:

mom, brother, dad (who I miss so much I have a hard time dealing with life), Audrey Hepburn, and Karch Kiraly.
