..........Florencia 13 is a large Chicano street gang (sureño) in South Los Angeles, with hundreds possibly thousands of active and inactive members (with generations of family members). Florencia 13, like most large gangs, is divided into dozens of sets (subgroups of a bigger gang). Among them are The 64st lcs, 85th st lcs, Bagos, Malditos, Malos, Locos, Tiny locos, Night owls, Gangsters, Holmes st, Midnites, Eazy boys,Pee Wee, The klan, Denker boys, Neighborhood, Dukes, Dream Boys, Diablos, Jokers, Tokers, Lil rascals, Asesinos, Termites and Lil' Chicos. The gang is sometimes mistakenly believed to be named after Florence Avenue, running east and west through south Los Angeles; in fact, the gang's namesake comes from the unincorporated area of Los Angeles County, known as Florence. The gangs turf stretches from Crenshaw blvd. on the west side to Eastern Blvd. in Bell Gardens and from 57th st to 95th Street. Florencia 13 is one the oldest, respected and feared gangs and has the biggest turf of all Los Angeles gangs. Their main rivals are 18 street, 38 street, Mara Salvatrucha (MS 13) Grape St Watts (along with most sureño Watts gangs: Morton Town, SSWatts, etc.), The Bratz(TBZ 13)cyclones13 in Huntington park, East Coast Crips, Lynwood City based gangs, Street Saints (South Central Los Angeles) . They also feud with most black gangs and other smaller gangs.
