Tim, Chrissi and Jan started making music in 2003. The first song they covered was 'Smells like teen spirit' (what else), oh right, the bandroom was located at tim's parents house's basement. So after practise the roof was on fire if you know...
Dirk joint after a couple of sessions, now there were two guitars, but what the band really needed was a brass section. Fortunately we knew just the right guys. With Leo and Volker onboard we also moved into our first bandroom on Bitburg former US airport. The Place is a bar called "Miroslavas" and its owner was so kind to let us practise in the back room. Due to his business plans involving expandation we had to move. For a while we rehearsed at Chrissi's Family Restaurant in Metterich until we moved into our first real bandroom, an old shelter on Bitburg's former airbase. After a year or so we had to move again... but not far. Our current bandroom down at riotdowntown412 provides us not only with shelter and comfort, also caring bands have made it into a highclass party hangout famous for its liveshows. (well, famous means like 300 people care)
Anywho, we played a couple of local shows and were just on the way to the top ;-) when our trompete player left the band. Luckily we found an adequate replacement in Anja, who was very eager to do well. And she does. With everything in the right place again we piled together little money we had and recorded a 9-tack CD called 'Today's special offer'. Now we sit back an wait for the Record to make us rich... so go to skunkfood.de and buy it!
