The following year they included central Africa in their tour, Gabon, Guinea, the Congo, and the Central African Republic, as well as Cameroun. A recording is forthcoming, which will recreate the atmosphere of those weeks (Afrique 52ème rue Est) Since then, Gilles Renne and Philippe Sellam have pursued their ideal of « balanced exchange between France and Africa. » They are not interested in being artificially inserted into Africa in order to perform for a small and elite public, but in playing with local misicians for enthusiastic audiences who love jazz, dances, and rhythms, whether their origins happen to be Creole, Pygmy, Bikutsi or Makossa. our six albums were recorded in Africa on tour in more than 15 countries. The last album "Sortilège" is a live concert recorded in the parisian jazz club "Sunset". Most members of the band come from all over africa We love to invite guests to our every concert, in the purpose of sharing and mixing different cultures; improvisation is the heart of our music.
