This MySpace site is for anyone living in or around Rouen in Normandy who wants guitar lessons in English! Our school offers guitar lessons for all levels and in all genres. In English we offer:
* Everything from basic chords and melodies to advanced improvisation and shredding, and everything in between
* All levels of theory
* Practical use and tending of all kinds of guitars; electric and acoustic
* ... anything else you wanted to know about guitars and guitar playing!
Besides of this, we offer in French, with possibilities of assistance in English:
* Band teaching
* Master classes
* Lessons in any musical subjects (history, instruments, etc.)
Rouen Guitar School, Ecole de Guitare de Rouen, was created already in 1995 as a piano school, by the great French pianist/ keyboardist David Dauthieux. From 2003 the school was offering lessons in piano/ keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. From 2006 the guitar department consist of teachers fluent in English.
All our teachers are carefully selected; instead of just hiring striving musicians who just wants to teach on the side to gain some money, all of the teachers has to be passionate about teaching! All teachers have a proper education in music, experience both in playing and teaching, and skills on their respective instruments!
