I believe that there is a need for a balance in life. Work, recreation, friends, exercise, and a spiritual outlet, make life complete. I can't honestly say all of these are always present in my life in the exact proportions that I would consider to be ideal, but balance is what I strive for.I am the single parent of a 19 year old girl. She is attending college, at UC Santa Cruz.I have a California Multiple Subject teaching credential, a Master's degree in Urban Studies, a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a minor in Psychology, and have taken graduate-level courses in Business. I see learning as a life-long process.I enjoy Southern California for its climate and lifestyle. I like to surf, whitewater raft, snorkel, hike, bike,go to the beach and I also like Winter sports. I ice skate and would love to learn to snowboard, or ski. I enjoy both live and recorded music, museums, the theatre, movies, parks, and books. I've even done a little rock climbing. Tennis and golf are sports that I have never learned, but would try,given the opportunity. I work out at a gym, regularly.Real Estate is one of my interests since I sold real estate for three years.
