I'm a syndicated cartoonist and illustrator whose newspaper and magazine features appear worldwide. Born in Manchester, UK, I've lived in Huntington Beach, California since 1989. I currently write and illustrate the daily cartoon strips BIOGRAPHIC and KID CITY. I started out playing in bands and designing record sleeves for the likes of JOY DIVISION, JOHN COOPER CLARKE and SLAUGHTER & THE DOGS, before breaking into newspaper and magazine illustration. My previous features include BADLANDS, which ran every day for 13 years in UK national The Sun, the world's best-selling English language newspaper, and the syndicated strip MULLETS ... and I'm the only cartoonist ever to be named Illustrator of the Year by both the National Cartoonists Society (USA) and the Australian Cartoonists Association.And when I'm not doing all that, I manage L.A. indie rock band POP NOIR .
